We had a great time at Wic-Can Fest, Canada’s oldest and longest running pagan festival!

We had great neighbors, The Raven’s Rune, Evora’s Attic, and Altruistic Apothecary! We got a little soggy in the rain and had to set back up. The wind was crazy! We lost the tent as well as our spare. Happily the sun came out and we had a great time in the heat.

We’ve got a few new items to add to our extensive list as well as some items that will be discontinued. It’s ok! Means there will be a scratch and dent sale in order to get us to KG in the fall. Thanks to everyone who came out!

Brantford Pagan Meet & Greet

What a great day! We had a blast meeting all our friends old and new in Mohawk Park on May 30, 2015! The weather cooperated for most of the day as well. We had some higher winds later in the day. Hey, that’s what we get for having a Kemetic opening ritual invoking the Winds of Change!

As usual we had lots of questions about our products and their uses. I’m reasonably sure that I talked myself hoarse – and loved every second of it. We test drove some new products that you will see rolling in out in the next few months.

Even Scents Expire – Beaux Magique

Did you know that fragrant sprays and perfume can expire? It’s true! Keep all your yummy smelling items out of direct sunlight or extreme temperatures and in a cool dark place. Guess what? The bathroom is not the ideal place! Why? The heat from your shower or bath water can raise the temperature in that tiny room and damage your fragrances. Thinking the fridge? Nope! WAY too cold! The chill from the fridge can cause just as much damage as the heat.

If you do find those old bottles of perfume or oils? Check the date! When did you buy it? Do you remember when you got it? If it’s been over a two years? Be very careful! Even the best perfumes and even ours can break down over time. Still want to use the fragrance? Do a skin test and wait twenty four hours. Watch for skin reactions.

Want to ditch the old bottles? Here’s what you can do: If you can get the top off, dilute the contents with denatured alcohol. This will thin the mixture and make it easier to dispose of. Can’t get the top off? Drop it off with me!

How it all began…

How it all began…. It started with full moon, an artesian well.. and a little bit of Magique! Really it did!

Once upon a time, I had gathered some artesian spring water under the full moon, determined to make some magic with the liquid. Not long afterward, I got sick. For a few weeks, no doctor could find out what was wrong. Finally I’d had enough!

I took that wonderful water, a selection of essential oils known for their magical and mundane healing properties and made the Charged Water Spray now known as S’elever.

I changed my sheets, sprayed my bed and went back to sleep. Two days later I was right as rain! I thought it was a fluke… However a few ailing friends tried my spray as well. They too saw that they got better MUCH faster than normal. I just can’t question the magic!
